"What do I look to accomplish through training in the martial arts? The answer is combative completeness, which is the ability to combine the theoretical knowledge of jiu-jitsu technique along with practical application skills. What we teach and train in is this unique combination, inspiring students and ourselves to become adept in both areas of martial art training. The theoretical knowledge encompasses the theories and principles of jiu-jitsu, the history of the art as well as character development, instilling the traits of respect, honor and focus. The practical application of the art is accomplished through the progressive use of free sparring, grappling and realistic practice of jiu-jitsu in a safe, mutually respective environment."

As I continue my training in jiu-jitsu, I look to not only increase my abilities in these two areas, but to also pass these traits on to the students with whom I interact.'
